Mieroscopic description: Endometrial specimen: The sections reveals endometrial glands that vary in size and shape, and lined by pseudostratified epithelium. Some glands are cystically dilated, and some exhibit shallow budding. Stroma is mitotically active, proliferative type. Also, the sections reveals a polypoid tissue composed of endometrial glands with cystic appearance in a fibrous and inflamed stroma with thick-walled vessels. Endocervical specimen: The sections reveal mucin producing glands embedded in inflamed stroma. —-Endometrial and endocervical curettage specimens: DX: —-Findings are in favor of disordered proliferative endometrium; accompanied by endometrial polyp. —-Chronic endocervicitis.1044 viewsپاسخ0 votes
