MACROSCOPIC:
Material received for consultation consists of two H&E stained slides and two paraffin blocks No: 02-62 accompanied by a copy of corresponding pathology report from “Hajar Hospital pathology laboratory, Tehran” with diagnosis of:
-Endometrial curettage: Atypical endometrial hyperplasia
MICROSCOPIC:
Please see the diagnosis
DIAGNOSIS:
Outside H&E stained slides and prepared slides from outside paraffin blocks No: 02-62 designated as:
A) Endocervical curettage:
-One tiny portion of crowded atypical glands consistent with atypical hyperplasia /EIN
-Other fragments: Chronic endocervicitis and shedding endometrium,
B) Endometrial curettage:
-Endometrial polyp
-Late secretory shedding endometrium
-No hyperplasia or malignancy is seen in this specimen
NOTE AND COMMENT:
-Please check for the contaminant in specimen No: A.
-Slides and blocks returned to the patient.
با سلام . جواب پاتولوژی اولم هیپرپلازی آندومتر و سرویکس هر دو بود اما در بازخوانی مجدد فقط هیپر پلازی سرویکس دیده شده آیا باز هم باید هیستروکتومی کنم؟ممنون
